Eugen Bauer was the most important manufacturer of 35mm projectors in Germany after WWII. In many cinemas the projectors were made by Bauer and the amplification system by Siemens / Klangfilm. Bauer also offered several 16mm projectors as the famous P5 (see right) followed by the P6 and the P7. Maybe the Siemens 2000 was the better projector choice, but the Bauer EL84 amps for the P5 were (and are!) much better than the Siemens 2000 amps. |
