| Siemens 2000 16mm movie projector amps | |||||||||||

The Siemens 2000 projector was the most sold 16mm projector in Germany. Thousands of them were sold to schools or companies. Usually the projector was accompanied by a green speaker enclosure with L307 or L405 speaker. Forget the preamp section of these amps - very noisy and unlinear frequency response. Some power amps are good - some need mods to sound like hifi equipment. Some of them do not use feedback (or very low) and carry a lot of hum with them (not too disturbing with the original speakers, but with a good woofer or horn system ....). |

Introduced together with the above amp, this is my favourite one from this series. 5 watts of single ended output power. Bigger ouput transformer than in the later EF86 type. Better sound! |
